THE DIVISION TABLE
The DIVISION TABLE, the newest addition to M. Shively’s furniture collection, is a collision of diverse materials resulting in a distinctive contemporary design. A new form emerges when the central bronze plate divides the black walnut into two equal planks, resulting in a union of what what was once divided.
The table is crafted from black walnut and bronze in his Port Chester studio.
